The Roger Williams Park Conservancy is seeking an Executive Director.
The Roger Williams Park Conservancy is an independent nonprofit organization created as part of the Rhode Island Foundation’s Campaign for Roger Williams Park, which raised over $9 million for Park capital improvements and for a permanent endowment to provide perpetual operating support for the Conservancy. The Conservancy works with the City of Providence Parks Department to steward Roger Williams Park, offer programs, raise resources, coordinate marketing efforts, and plan for the Park’s long-term sustainability and enjoyment by the community. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director provides professional oversight to ensure that the Conservancy is managed effectively to achieve its vision, mission, and strategic goals and is responsible for building upon the successes of the past three years of the Conservancy’s growth.
