Explore the geology of the northern part of our state with the Museum of Natural History curator and geologist Michael Kieron. Examining the quartz vein at Diamond Hill, the cumberlandite locality and the Esmond granite, we will discover Rhode Island’s unique geologic history. Collecting is allowed. Please note: There may be some climbing.

Program fee: $5 per person; $3 per person for museum members. Children under age 7 are not permitted. Pets are not permitted. Pre-registration required. For more information call 401.680.7248.
