We are the People’s Park.

Comprised of more than 435 beautiful acres of rolling greenspace and waterways, Roger Williams Park is the People’s Park. Here, you can appreciate the beauty of the outdoors, get physically active, have fun with your family and friends, feel safe, and explore and discover new things. Each year over 1.5 million visitors from around the state – and beyond! – enjoy the same scenery and activities as past generations.

Roger Williams Park represents Rhode Island’s rich and diverse history, and the Roger Williams Park Conservancy is the proud steward. We offer program, raise funds, coordinate marketing, and plan for the future of the Park.

We are bringing back old traditions.

Giving people a reason to come back and explore.

In 2017, we opened a restored system of five marked trails. Each offers a different perspective on the Park, terrain, views, and level of difficulty.
