Corporate and Employee Volunteer Day Opportunities in Roger Williams Park

The Roger Williams Park Conservancy and the Providence Parks Department are excited to welcome local businesses and institutions and their employees for a volunteer day in Roger Williams Park. The dedicated Parks Department staff works hard, seven days a week, to maintain and improve the park, and appreciate your support to make the park even better!

Giving back is empowering! Your volunteer time not only supports Roger Williams Park but also encourages team building and team cohesion.

The Conservancy will provide a brief introduction to the park, talk about the impact of your work, and offer detailed instructions for the activity. We will provide all the tools and supplies necessary- just bring your energy! We will provide a water cooler and cups, though we suggest volunteers bring a reusable bottle with them.

We are happy to work with you on promotional efforts to let your customers and network know about your commitment to the community. This could include social media, e-newsletters, and company communications.

We ask that companies consider a donation between $500 and $2,000 to the Roger Williams Park Conservancy for this volunteer experience. Your financial support helps grow programs and investments in the park for the entire community to enjoy. As a 501 c3 organization, all donations are tax-deductible.

We offer the following projects for you to consider. We can work with you to adjust or modify these activities as needed. Note that some of these projects are seasonal and others may be dependent on funding (such as tree planting). Volunteer projects will be scheduled between 9am and 3:30pm.

We look forward to working with you!  For more information, or to arrange a visit to the park, please contact Lisa Dow, Volunteer Coordinator, at Ldow@rwpconservancy.org.
