The Sri Chinmoy monument is dedicated to the Indian spiritual leader who founded the World Harmony Run.

Sri Chinmoy was a spiritual teacher, poet, artist and athlete. He was said to have written 1,500 books, 115,000 poems, 20,000 songs and painted 200,000 paintings. He gave almost 800 free peace concerts and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. The newest monument in the Park, the Sri Chinmoy monument was contributed by an anonymous donor.
