Roger Williams Park Conservancy needs volunteers this weekend (May 9 and May 10) in the afternoon to help the City of Providence assess the Slow Streets program in Roger Williams Park. Specifically, we are looking for “sweepers” (periodically check placement of barricades, take photographs, not observations, and report back) or “counters” (stand on a Slow Street and count the number of people using the street during a 30- to 60-minute period).
