Friday June 3 saw families and film lovers return to the Boathouse Lawn at sunset for the return of First Friday Films in Roger Williams Park. We enjoyed Food Truck Friday fare and popcorn and enjoyed Night at the Museum, a terrific and fun film with an amazing cast. We are inspired by the diverse and always-evolving exhibits at the park’s own Museum of Natural History and Planetariumand we hope the film inspired you to visit the Museum soon.

This collaboration between the Roger Williams Park Conservancy and the Providence Parks Department is free to the public thanks to the Providence Department of Arts Culture and Tourism and many others.

  1. Love these events! What time do the movies usually get going?

    1. Kevin Essington says:

Movies start about 15 minutes before sunset, Srini. The July 1 show will probably start at about 7:40.
