There are lots of opportunities to double your dollar with 401 Gives. Here are a few ways to make your donation go even further... The link to donate is in our bio and comments below!

🐥Calling All Early Birds: Starting at 6:00 a.m. on 4/1/2025, the first $20,000 will be matched by the @pocfoundation.ri - We could earn $500 if people get up early and give!!

⚡️Re-energize & Recharge: Starting at 12:00 p.m. on 4/1/2025, donations will be matched by Rhode Island Energy up to $500.

🥳Community Match: Starting at 4:01 pm. on 4/1/2025, the next $20,000 will be matched by the @rifoundation at $20 each (Ex: $20, matched by $20, turns into $40).

There are even more ways your gift could turn into more $$ but the KEY 🔑 is to give today to the nonprofits you care about. How much is less important than showing your support through a donation of any size!

The Japanese Lantern Statue...

❓Did You know??
The Japanese Lantern Statue currently on display in the park's Japanese Garden is one of 14 identical statues dedicated in 1841 by the Japanese Feudal Lord Toronoa Tsuchiya. This lantern was given to the City of Providence in 1954 to commemorate Newport native, Commodore Matthew Perry's diplomatic mission to Japan. It has been on display in the park since then.
