Meet at the Museum of Natural History (map)

Museum of Natural History docent and archivist Richard Siembab will lead a special walking tour of the historic Williams family cemetery in Roger Williams Park. Learn exactly who is buried there and what those curious symbols on the headstones really mean. Richard, a longtime member of the Association of Gravestone Studies, will bring a wealth of knowledge to this often overlooked park culture resource.

Program fee per session: $3 per adult (includes museum admission); free for museum members.

Pre-registration is preferred. Call (401) 680-7221 or email [email protected] to register.

Please note: this event has been rescheduled from Oct. 27 due to inclement weather.
