Museum of Natural History docent Bill LaCivita will guide a tour of the Victorian rose garden in Roger Williams Park. Since the 1880s, many varieties of roses from Albertine to White Dorothy Perkins have been grown and bred by the park’s gardeners and landscapers. This is a great way to learn about the magnificent blooms that make the rose garden such a popular place for important events.

Program fee: $3 per person (includes museum admission); free for museum members.

Pets are not permitted. Pre-registration preferred. Call 401.680.7248 or email [email protected] to register.
