Roger Williams Park Conservancy is seeking up to 15 eager weed pullers and flower planters to spruce up the space in front of the Dalrymple Boathouse, Betsey Williams’ Cottage, and the Casino. This “Flower Power Team” will plant petunias and other flowers that the Botanical Center grew from seed in March and now need a home!
Volunteers must bring:
- Face mask or other face covering,
- Trowel, shovel, or other digging implement(s), and
- Gloves (recommended)
Sorry, no more than 15 people permitted, per Providence Mayor Jorge O. Elorza’s recent executive order regarding COVD19 restrictions. We will meet at the Boathouse at 4:30 P.M., Monday, June 15th, 2020.
