Celebrate Earth in April at the Museum of Natural History

Monday, April 10 –  Sunday, April 16, 2023

Discover the diversity of our amazing planet, past and present! Explore the museum and see our new lobby exhibit, Flight of the Dinosaurs: Origin of Birds that opens on Friday, April 7. From the ground under your feet to the sky above, come celebrate our dynamic planet with the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium in Roger Williams Park.

Special Earth Week Happenings:
10am-4pm: Earth Family Fun
Cost: Free with museum admission
Activities include: discover seeds on the move, explore trees, learn about fossils, make a design-o-saur, special Earth Celebration museum quest and more.

1pm-2pm: Excellent Earth Activity Table
Cost: Free with museum admission
Participate in hands-on activities.
Please note: Due to building construction in the planetarium, there are no planetarium shows April 8 through 23.
