The Casino has been a social center for Rhode Island for over 120 years.

Designed and built to replace the “What Cheer Cafe” on this site in 1896, the Casino was designed to offer natural, breathtaking views of the surrounding area.  The Colonial Revival-style structure was constructed with $30,000 raised by receipts from launch boat rides, row boat and ice skate rentals and other amusements. It has been host to thousands of concerts, dances, weddings and events. The indoors includes a glorious ballroom as well as a dining room that is often used as a meeting rooms.  The veranda is a wonderful romantic location!
