Gateway and Visitors Center: Open!

The Roger Williams Park Conservancy sends our warmest congratulations to Providence Mayor Elorza, the Providence Parks Department, the Providence Department of Planning and Development, the Providence Redevelopment Authority and dozens of federal and state partners, contractors, and neighbors on the October 31, 2022 ribbon cutting at the new Roger Williams Park Gateway and Visitors Center. The Gateway, at the Broad Street entrance to the park, is now open seven days a week to plan any trip to the park, from the Museum or Botanical Center, to the Zoo, or just to wander around. The Gateway is a destination in itself, hosting community meeting space, gardens, and even “insect hotels.” Enjoy this brief slide show from the ribbon cutting then stop by the Gateway soon!
