Experience mineral treasures normally locked away in the Museum’s vaults with the Museum’s curator. Assembled over the span of 120 years, this collection is a record of vanished mines and long-gone geological wonders. From brilliant barites to glistening geodes and opulent opals you will have a personal view of Earth’s great crystal jewels. Bring a rock from your own collection and have our geologist ID it or try to stump him!
